The executive management of PT Kharisma Citatunggal (KCT) is directly involved in the development, implementation and continual improvement of KCT’s Integrated Management System (IMS) which sets standards and controls Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) performance.

KCT is committed to ensuring that:

  • The agreed requirements of its clients are achieved or exceeded,
  • A competent workforce is maintained by engaging personnel who are trained and experienced in their field of operation, or, by providing skills training where gaps are identified,
  • Clear, measurable objectives and targets are set for the continuous improvement of its QHSE performance,
  • Actions that respond to QHSE issues are not adversely influenced by financial constraints,
  • Senior Managers are accountable for all QHSE matters; they lead QHSE performance through the implementation of training, education and awareness programs.

KCT is committed to the responsible care of its stakeholders. It protects all personnel, the community at large and the environment from any adverse impacts, real or potential, that may result from its operational activities. It provides a safe and secure working environment at all its work places by adopting a philosophy of accident prevention and striving to perform work in the safest practical manner.

It is KCT policy to:

  • Motivate and encourage its personnel to STOP any work activity whenever it places them or the environment at risk without fear of reprisal;
  • Comply with all Indonesian statutory rules and regulations, industry standards on occupational health, safety and environmental (HSE) Protection;
  • Motivate and train all KCT personnel and contractors to perform and behave in a safe and responsible manner which neither endangers themselves and others nor the environment;
  • Communicate QHSE performance statistics to employees and, openly discussed with stakeholders and interested parties, all QHSE performance issues that may affect them;
  • Enable effective & prompt response to emergencies through training, simulations that test procedures, and, facilities maintenance;
  • Identify safety hazards and significant adverse environmental impacts resulting from operational activities, assess the risks and take action to mitigate the effects of real or potential issues (including identification & prevention of occupational diseases and pollution prevention);
  • Educate, give counselling and, where necessary, provide for the rehabilitation of those involved in any incidents which may occur;
